Is this reason to be suspicious in my relationship?

Firstly, i'm a paranoid person - period. However…

last night I received a text from my girlfriend then 2 mins later a facetime call (we both have iphones), but the facetime was canceled almost instantly. I asked why she had done this and she said it was an accident and didn't mean too, she said that she had scrolled up too the top of the messages and hit the facetime button by accident,

can that really happen? Cause my thinking is that she wanted to facetime somebody else and not concentrating clicked on me instead,

how is it possible to scroll up a conversation too the top of the messages and hit that button, not knowingly by accident? I know with some iphones you can 'shoot' too the top of the messages by tapping something, but still - would that not seem strange?

Most of us make errors when we're using technology. Don't read too much into your girlfriend's slip of the finger. If you don't trust her, maybe there are other signs apart from this one. The thing is, though, you have to talk with her in person more and spend less time texting, etc.

I've done this before. It's easy done. Perhaps she never explained it to you well enough, but touch screen phones can be a nightmare, can't they? Sometimes my fingers move around the screen and I have no idea how I got somewhere, but if someone was to ask me, I would probably hazard a guess, like she did. I wouldn't expect somebody to be sad enough to analyse it. It's actually easier to do what she did than to facetime someone by mistake really.

If you're becoming suspicious over something as small as that then how are you going to respond if you see her innocently walking with a male friend? I would be terrified being in a relationship with you. Admitting you have paranoia isn't good enough for your relationship. I'm sorry but I've had experiences with paranoid people and your partner could end up becoming trapped and isolated by your suspicions. Get some help, for her sake. When you come across something more concrete, then you can accuse her.
