Keep Getting Calls From An Unknown Email Address (facetime)?
I got an iphone 4s a few weeks ago, and the day after i got it i got a facetime call from this email address i didn't know. I definitely do not know this person, and i don't know how they get my number because the only people i had on my phone at the time were my parents and a couple of friends, i'm 14 btw. I thought it may have been a mistake, and they could have mistyped a number or something, but they keep calling me, i never answered and i would get about 7-8 missed calls at a time. They do it every day and its getting annoying. Yesterday i was at my friends house, i was in the bathroom, and when i came out she told me i had got a call from and email address, and she had answered it. She said that it didn't connect to him she could only see her own face, and after about 3 seconds they dissconnected. Waht is this, it's getting really annoying and kind of creepy now, how can i get them to stop?
Its an advertising email like where they send you spam and stuff. Like those fake money give away emails except the email can't use facetime so it can't connect to you.
- Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person? A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?
- Received an text from unknown email address? I got a text from someone's gmail account to my iPhone over iMessage, and I have NO idea who it is. They sent me a text saying "Hey". I don't recognize the email and I don't know if I should respond to them. It kind of freaks me out because they have my number and I don't know how they got it.
- Iphone 5c incoming calls just say UNKNOWN CALLER no phone number displayed? I'm hoping someone might have a suggestion. I recently switched to an iphone and when I receive incoming calls no number comes up it simple says Unknown name. I've never had this happen with a phone before. I contacted the carrier who have no answer why this is happening and are going to look into it. In the meantime I don't know who is calling my phone. I can't figure it out if anyone has a answer or knows what might be going on I'd love some feedback.
- I've been getting calls off unknown numbers? On my iPhone 4 I've recently been getting calls from a private number. Every time it rings, it says "Unknown Caller" and it's really annoying! How do I block these unknown calls? I've heard there's a way to stop you from getting "Unknown Calls" but I don't know how to do it and if anyone knows I'd be so thankful if you told me! I really need it to stop!
