Laptop won't connect to my Wi-Fi anymore, but it works on my iPhone?

My laptop used to always connect to the Wi-Fi but since the weekend all it shows is a red "x" on the Wi-Fi and when I connect it just goes to troubleshoot but even that doesn't work. It connects to my iPhone just fine but never connects to my laptop anymore, what's wrong with my computer?

Try turning it off and on again.

Plug it into your charger overnight. If it still fails, create a new connection in the Network and Sharing Center.

Log on to your Router and Troubleshoot…

If you don't have access to the Router it could be possible that the person that does has blocked your Computer.

It is possible that the Wi-Fi card has been turned off, check your manual for details.
Rt click on the network icon (the red "x") Go to network and sharing, change adapter settings, click enable
It is also possible that the Wi-Fi card has died, the cheapest solution would be a small Wi-Fi USB dongle

  • Wi-Fi works on my Laptop.but not on my iPhone? I've done what I could to see what the problem was. I "Forget this network" on my iphone under Wi-Fi settings and tried to reconnect and nothing. Interestingly, At the beginning of connection, FB, Google and some random sites will go through but others won't. I don't understand what the issue could be?

  • One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
  • My wireless network works for my iPhone, but not for me laptop? My laptop says that it is connected to the Wi-Fi network (with full connectivity), but then when I try to open a webpage, it won't load. My internet works on my iPhone, so I know this isn't a problem with the router. I've already tried restarting the router, but this hasn't worked.
