Locked out of iPhone no apple ID?
Yesterday my sister got an iPhone and she put a password on it and now she can't remember what it was and now she's locked out of her phone. I figured that it would be easy since all you had to do is plug it into your computer and sync it… But she doesn't have an apple ID. So is there any way she can get it unlocked?
The only way to do it is to put the phone in DFU mode and plug it into iTunes. The computer will think it is in recovery mode and will wipe everything off the phone including the password.
Entering DFU Mode (Official Instructions)
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
ITunes then requires you to back up the phone the only option says ok then nothing
- Will Apple automatically sign you out if you change your Apple password? My sister has my mums old iPhone which has my stuff logged in and she told me she could see my messages and I got a little freaked out and I wanna know if Apple logs you out automatically if you change your password ;-; (The phone is supposed to be mine soon.)
- My iphone locked me out after an itunes update, how can I uninstall it? Okay I have an Iphone 1 ( version 4.2.1) that I was using to listen to music WITHOUT a sim card in it. It would let me in anytime I wanted, and then I accidently updated Itunes and it decided to lock me out because I don't have a sim card. - Locked out of my iPhone haha? I was messing about and now I'm locked out of my iPhone. I don't know the 4 number passcode and I have tried things I have seen on the Internet. I tried the one where you hold down the lock and home button, wait until there's the apple sign, then let the lock button go, and then the iTunes and cable sign should appear. This did NOT work for me. It just turned on again. I don't know what I'm going to do so any suggestions welcome.
- Locked out of Apple ID and 'use a rescue email' button won't work on Apple ID? I had gotten a new iphone and forgot the answers to my security questions to my Apple ID and locked myself out of my Apple ID account. No biggie, I tried just resetting my questions like I've done in the past, but this time, the 'use a rescue email' button won't work. Whenever I clicked on it, it did nothing. I tried resetting my phone and after that didn't work, I got on my laptop and the same thing was happening. Any suggestions or fixes?
