Look for a good car stereo for low price?

So I've been looking into getting a new car stereo for my car. It'll be a nice upgrade and it'll be nice to be able to plug my iPhone into my stereo vs.using an FM transmitter. I've been looking into getting a JVC stereo unit with Bluetooth, it runs about 100 bucks and comes with pandora radio, I think that's pretty sweet to be honest. Not sure of the model but I'm just curious, is JVC a good brand for car audio? Anyone have any experience and maybe any suggestions on other good brands?

The Victor Company of Japan has been around since 1927. They must be doing something right to have stayed in business that long.

If I had to buy any brand right now, it'd be Alpine or Kenwood. Pioneer isn't bad, either. The ones with that new MixTrax is pretty cool. It looks for songs that have the same BPM and will hot mix them for you. No more need for Funk Master Flex riding around in your car anymore.

  • Why does my car stereo make a clicking sound when I charge my iPhone? I just bought a certified preowned 2009 Mazda Mazda3 hatchback. Whenever I plug my charger into my iPhone while it's connected to the aux input I hear a repeating clicking sound through my speakers. The clicking gets faster and slightly higher in pitch as I push the accelerator. What's going on?
  • What will 128 kbps sound like in a good car stereo? I have a huge iTunes library and I'm trying to fit all of my music onto my iPhone. I have a very nice car and an amazing stereo in it, and it sounds wonderful right now at 192 kbps. I'm satisfied with the sound at the moment. If I compress the music to 128 kbps, will there be an audible sound difference?
  • What is a good price for aniPhone 4s price? The iPhone 5 just came out and I my friend wants to sell me his 4s because he got the 5 but he's asking $200 Is this a good price? By the way it's a 16 gb.
  • Play iPhone through car stereo with good quality? Right now I have a Belkin think that goes into the 30pin plug of my iPhone and other end goes into the car outlet cigarette lighter thing and it plays but its not very good quality and it doesn't go very loud, not as loud as CDs. Is there a why to get my iPhone to play better sounding music without getting a new head unit/new speakers? CDs sound great in my car so its the speakers.
