Lost iPhone. Can't track it
My buddy lost his iPhone 5 (but it may have been stolen). He has the "find my iPhone" app as well as the "find friends" app. The problem is he didn't register the "find my iPhone" and he has the find friends app turned to "hide me" mode.
Is there any other way to track down his phone? He could lose his job over this…
Can he activate any of these apps through iCloud? Any solutions would help.
If he didn't already have iCloud set up on his device with Find My iPhone enabled, he can't do so after the device is stolen.
To track a lost phone, he need to install the tracking app on the phone before it is lost. For myself, I installed anti-thief app onto my phone.
