Modem resets when laptop connected via Wi-Fi?
When I connect my laptop to network via Wi-Fi it resets modem as if I was just turn it on. I have spoken to tech support they seem to think there's a problem with my wireless modem but it connects fine and doesn't drop out with iPhones smart tv etc so I can't see how it could be a wireless problem. When I connect laptop direct to Ethernet it doesn't drop out. Could there be a problem with Wi-Fi in the laptop?
I don't know what might be causing the problem except if by some chance their is a mac block list on the modem (don't know if they exist), however what i might suggest:
To test if your laptop is a problem, connect your laptop to another Wi-Fi network and connect a completely different laptop to your Wi-Fi and see if it bombs out…
My suggestions, do a hard reset (clears all data, resets to factory settings) then just reprogram router with ISP and user info, it might help, and very important, google your exact problem, say router is a tplink xyz

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.

- My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
