My Beats By Dre earbuds are not working on one side?

Today, my left side of my Beats earbuds stopped working. It was working fine all day- and then suddenly it stopped. My right earbud works just fine, it's only the left side. None of the wires are exposed, and I have never dropped my phone with my buds plugged in, or wrapped the buds around my iPhone while it was plugged in.

Is there a way to fix this? Or maybe a way to replace them for little to no money? I received these as a gift from my parents, and I think they'll be pretty pissed to hear that it's broken.

You should check the cords, maybe one of them is damaged. Also check your ears just in case… Or maybe the song is mono and only plays in one of the speakers.

That's exactly what happens with massively overhyped and overpriced fashion toys, that's what All Beats are! Just ditch those and get yourself something more decent such as Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic or Audio-Technica.

Broken cables are a common problem with headphones; this is why I only use throwaway earbuds for everything that leaves the house. Wrapping the cable makes it all the more likely. A little pushing and pulling near the connections may bring some temporary help.

For anything that overpriced it is worth a try to go back to the shop and complain. If you got that thing less than two years ago and your parents still have the receipt, dr dre should it repaired.
