My daughter receives my texts and vice versa?
I have an iPhone 6s and my daughter had an iPhone 4. Recently, I bought her the new iPhone 7. At the Apple store, the employees told me to enter an iCloud account into the iPhone 7. Since, she didn't have an account, I entered mine. Once we got home, we found out that she could see my texts and vice versa because we had the same id. I want to give her privacy, so I made her a new account. She entered that new account into her phone. But, we can still see each other's texts. I think that might be because her phone was set with my account so it doesn't change. I want to let her restart her phone with her own account, but I don't know how.

If you are not confident in doing this then your best option is to return to the Apple store and have them sort it out for you the way they should have done in the first place.
To do this ideally you'll need to know all your Apple IDs and passwords, and both you and your daughter along with the phones should visit at the same time! Dig around in settings. You both have something checked that you get each other's texts. Happened to us. I did not want to hear from DH fantasy baseball league, and he did not want to see texts from my flute students. Check under Send and Receive and also Forwarding. Easy.

- Will it costs to send an iMessage from England to Ireland and vice versa? Just wondering my boyfriend and I both have iPhones with iMessage and he is away in Ireland for a couple of days. Will iMessage still work and be free for us or does he need Wi-Fi for iMessage to send to me? How will it work out? He is on 02, I'm on orange uk.
- My iPhone 4 receives and sends text messages but can't send or receive photos? Barely bought a new iPhone 4, put my sim card into it and the iphone won't let me receive or send picture texts. I can send message texts and receive them, but not picture ones. It keeps giving me an error (red exclamation point) on by my picture. Tried all your suggestions. Still doesn't work and yes I can attach to emails and stuff but just can't text photos.
- Is the ipad mini screen better than the iPhone 5 screen or vice versa? Just curious because the colors are actually slightly different on the ipad… A little more pink or something like that.
- Is it possible to see the text messages that your child receives? My girlfriend has Verizon, and she has an iphone. Her parents say they can read her texts. However, can they not read the texts i send her? I'd think that would be a no, but i'm not sure. She is 17 at the moment. Remember, the texts she receives.
