Yes you can. I put oil in the volume button and it loosened the dirt that was inside and it works now. Try it
If you have the necessary parts and tools you may. However I advise you to just send it for repair.
- Why won't my iPhone let me turn my volume down? I have an iPhone 5 and when I want to turn my volume down it won't let me. The ringer icon doesn't even show up when I press the volume down button, but it does show up when I press volume up.
