My Iphone 2g has grey lines on the lcd screen?
I own a very early iphone 2g 8gb, it works perfectly and it does the job as any other iphone 2g does, though what are these grey lines across the LCD? Should i purchase and fit a new LCD?
Line across the LCD display normally are caused by pressure on the screen - pressure from being dropped, pressed to hard, being sat on, extreme heat or extreme cold.
You can replace the screen yourself, you can buy a kit from eBay and then there are lots of videos on youtube showing you how to replace it.
Or you can take it to Apple for them to do it, but they will charge you £119.
