My iPhone 4 receives and sends text messages but can't send or receive photos?
Barely bought a new iPhone 4, put my sim card into it and the iphone won't let me receive or send picture texts. I can send message texts and receive them, but not picture ones. It keeps giving me an error (red exclamation point) on by my picture.
Added (1). Tried all your suggestions. Still doesn't work and yes I can attach to emails and stuff but just can't text photos.
Just double tap home hold on Message push the minus bar, then reopen and try again. If that doesn't work restart your iPhone. Finally, if all else fails try to turn off and then on your network.
Are you able to attach tem to an email?
Go to your settings and to messages and check that your mms is on first. You can call your carrier and they can do some checking. When I got my iPhone 5 I had that issue and Verizon had to fix a setting on their end.
There's no on/off for messages on my iPhone 4. No minus bar. No home hold.
- Why can't i send or receive text messages? I have an Iphone 3Gs, and just recently I have not been able to send or receive text messages from one contact. When I try sending a message it says "received" but when we talk through facebook or anything else they inform me that they never got the message, and its the same with their phone, I never get the messages. Its becoming a big hassle and I just want the problem fixed. Can anyone help me out?
- Is there any App that sends free international text messages on iphone? Is there any appstore app guys, so that i can send free international text messages, or is there any free international text sending website?
- Is it possible to see the text messages that your child receives? My girlfriend has Verizon, and she has an iphone. Her parents say they can read her texts. However, can they not read the texts i send her? I'd think that would be a no, but i'm not sure. She is 17 at the moment. Remember, the texts she receives.
- Is it possible to see sends and receives trough the router? If someone has access to the main router, can he check the connected devices activities? For example if an iPhone is connected to this router, is it possible to check what does the app's on iphone do. Or being able to see or read images and texts? If so is there any way to encrypt data?
