Try plugging in headphones, playing a song, and then plugging them out.
Get a small piece of tissue and clean the inside of the jack. There's probably dirt in there.
The headphone jack is defective. Try plugging and unplugging a headphone a few times. If that doesn't work, you'll have to take it to a local phone repair shop.
Try removing sim card for around 3 minutes then put back in

If your iphone 5s is in headphone mode, then you just restart your iphone. Even if it not fixed by this then to fix it force reset your iphone. Long press power button. When it restart again you will be out of headphone mode
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
