My iPhone doesn't work

So I updated to the latest facebook app last night and when I clicked on it this morning, my iPhone 4 went to a black screen and hasn't turned on since. I tried charging it. I tried turning it back on. I tried connecting it to my computer but the only way my computer would recognize the iPhone is if it was in DFU mode (3 seconds power button, 10 seconds power button & home button and 10 seconds just home button). I tried doing the iTunes restore but I kept getting error 1601. I also tried resetting it by holding the Home & Power button. Holding the power button doesn't do anything. The home button doesn't do anything. I'm pretty sure there's no water damage.

So basically, my phone is a brick. Nothing is working. Is there any way to fix this? Did facebook turn my phone into a brick? Do I have to get a new phone?

My iTunes is iTunes 10 because I don't like iTunes 11: P
My IOS was updated
It is an iPhone 4
There's no physical damage to the phone
I use a PC computer

Don't charge it wait like two days and than charge it

You get the itunes error because it is an old version, try updating then it should work. Also if you still have a warranty take it to the apple store they will be forced to fix it.facebook is probably innocent.

Any other kind of phone will but iPhones don't. Why is it doing this? Is there anything I can do? What has to happen for it to work? Is it bouncing off the Canadian tower?
