My iphone is disabled! I forgot my password
I recently got a iPhone 5s and I managed to forget my password already… Ughh *facepalm*.
It says "connect to iTunes" but when I connect it says "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes".
Do you see my problem?
I don't mind resetting my phone/ deleting everything (I haven't had it for long enough to have anything important on it) as long as I can open it!
Enter DFU mode:
Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.
After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.
Once iTunes has detected that it is in Recovery Mode, you will get the option to restore your device. If you have previously made a backup then you can do a restore from backup.
- What do i do if i forgot my iphone password? Okay so i was messing around on the settings on my iphone 3g and i set a password which uses the keyboard so i set a pass word then decided that i should change it back and when it asks to re enter the password it says its wrong! The next time is 1 hour so please help! They password was "beyonce" if you must know! How could i have spelt it wrong twice when setting it the first time! Do i need to restore it? And will i lose some of my photos?
