My iPhone is stuck in recovery mode? - 2

Have a jail broken iPhone 4s. And it wouldn't hold it's charge and if I disconnect it from a power source it just shuts off. When it is connected to a power source it is in revivers mode. I tried restoring and updating but it keeps giving me error 21

If your able to put it into dfu mode then you might be able to restore it but what I would double check your internet connection. That's usually error 21 but try dfu mode too you can YouTube how to do it.

You will have to download iTunes 11.1 and force recovery mode. It will make you update to IOS 7 and take away the jailbreak. Oh, and your apps will go away as well.

If it still happens your hardware has failed and need to be serviced by Apple. You will want to run recovery mode anyway since if they discover a jailbreak they won't even touch it. And if you setup express they will charge you the full $599 for it when they find out.

  • IPhone is stuck in recovery mode? ITunes said I needed to update, so I did. However, halfway through the update, it stopped, and my iphone went into 'recovery mode'. When I tried to reconnect to itunes, it said I had to restore the iphone; I do not want to sacrifice any of the things I have on there:/.
