MY IPHONE IS STUCK ON RECOVERY MODE

I just got my iPhone and it is stuck on recovery mode!
It shows a USB that has an arrow pointing towards the iTunes icon

WHAT SHALL I DO? I'M SCARED BECAUSE I JUST GOT IT TODAY AND I UPDATED IT TO IOS 6 AND IT IS STUCK ON RECOVERY MODE WHAT DO I DO

Get your laptop and make sure you have itunes.connect your phone to your computer via your usb.itunes will detect an iphone in recovery mode. You have to restore your iphone.wait for it to reboot and voila! Your iphone should be fine

Now there are 2 things you can do:-

1. If you had some data on the phone, which you backed up - then get a data recovery software. I would personally recommend Total Saver from MyPhoneData - look at http://www.myphonedata.com/iphone
This will ensure that you are not loosing your data

2. Connect your iPhone to your computer (which has iTunes), and restore it to the latest backup.

That should take care of everything.

  • IPhone is stuck in recovery mode? ITunes said I needed to update, so I did. However, halfway through the update, it stopped, and my iphone went into 'recovery mode'. When I tried to reconnect to itunes, it said I had to restore the iphone; I do not want to sacrifice any of the things I have on there:/.
