My iPhone keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi? - 1
I have no idea what could be causing this…
The only POSSIBLE, --POSSIBLE-- linked cause that I could think of could be me resetting the network settings on my iPhone.
Just about ever since then, my iPhone barely connects to my home Wi-Fi, when it does, it's very slow, and it only lasts for less than a minute at a time before disconnecting again.
Yes, for those of you that give the thick headed answers, I obviously entered the password to my network onto the phone.
IceT, there are other free public Wi-Fi hotspots.
Connect to one of those Wi-Fi hotspots. Test it out. If it's faster and/or stays connected, then it's likely your router. If it's slower and/or doesn't stay connected, it's your phone.
Go to McDonalds and connect to their Wi-Fi. If it stays connected then it's your home wireless router. If it disconnects then it's your phone.
@ hi2mic… Of course there are other Wi-Fi spots but since I don't know were Chookie is and McDonalds is EVERYWHERE I figured that makes the most sense. But hey thanks for agreeing with me on the rest of what I said!
- Internet on my iphone keeps disconnecting? Okay so i have the iphone 3g (yes, i know it's old, please don't remind me) and everytime i use it i clearly have internet. The only problem is after about a minute my internet shuts down, this happens every single time. I can't use the phone more than a minute without my internet shutting down, most times it just says "no service" on the top… Which is crazy… Any help will be appreciated.

It will stay connected to Wi-Fi for a little bit then it will disconnect form Wi-Fi all by its self and sometimes it will stay connected to Wi-Fi for a long time then disconnect. Is there any thing I can do to fix this I have tried restoring the phone and even restarting my Wi-Fi.

I just got the iPhone 6+ and it never happened with my iPhone 5 or any other product in my house. It works at my cousin's house though. Could this be a problem with my Wi-Fi and not the phone?
