My iPhone won't receive texts?
I recently got given a iPhone 4S by cousin as she got an upgrade. I'm with Vodafone. I can receive texts when I'm in my own Wi-Fi area, but whenever I'm not at home I don't receieve any of my texts till I reach home. Receiving calls is fine. Is there anyway I can receieve my texts?
Make sure you are getting them as texts not Imessages
Go into settings and then Messages. If it is not needed, turn off iMessage. That will restrict all the texts you send to your SMS allowance with Vodafone instead of using Apple's instant messaging system.

- My iPhone won't receive texts messages? Unless I turn my phone on and off, sometimes I don't get calls and it won't even show up later saying I have even received them. It doesn't happen all the time mainly 5-6 times a week, but it does cause problems because I don't know if I have a text until I turn it off and on then it could be hours late. Just wondering if I can fix this or if I need to contact my network for help?
