My iphone won't turn on or charge?

I've only had this iphone for less than 5 months. I just got it. Its an iphone 4. I don't understand why it won't turn on. I called technical support but they said they couldnt help unless i go to an apple store.has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? I don't understand. I have an otterbox defender. I don't ever drop it… Help!

Call Apple's customer service number… They will answer all your questions.

Try holding the power button and the home button until you the apple logo appear.

  • IPhone 5 won't turn on or charge? When I charge it to an outlet and try to turn it on, the apple screen flashes on for 3 seconds and then the phone goes black. This repeats. When I try to charge it with a computer, nothing happens at all. I have charged the phone for a whole night, and this still happens. I have also tried using different cables, but so far, nothing works.
  • Iphone 4 won't turn back on or seem to charge? Earlier today my phone died so I plugged it in. Then the apple showed like it was about to turn on, my lock screen showed for about a second and then it turned back off. It keeps doing that and despite the fact that I've had it charged for a couple hours now it says I need to plug it in. Is there a quick fix or do I need to take it into the apple store?
  • I jailbroke my iphone now it won't turn on, so I reset it and it still won't turn on? I jailbroke my Iphone a few days ago, it's an Iphone 4. Everything was working fine until today when I installed a tweak. After the tweak installed I had to restart springboard, now it won't turn on. The apple logo pops up then goes away. I plugged it into my laptop and reset it but it's still doing the same thing.
  • How can I charge I charge my iPhone without an iPhone charger when it is low and needs to be charged and I can't charge it? Reason I may not be able to charge my iPhone. Forgot or don't have any charger at all my, and no where to buy one or I don't have money to buy one. No where to plug in my charger or some other reason I can't charge my iPhone at all.
