My music won't play, says my Apple Music membership expired (iPhone 6)?

So I noticed a few days ago my own music (that I bought) on my iPhone 6 hasn't been working. When I try and play a song, it shows the cover and shows the time like it would be playing, but no sound comes through. It doesn't work with earphones or without them.

When I tried to re-download them from the top of the playlist it said, "Your Apple Music membership has expired. Renew your membership from the View Apple ID section of your account settings now."

However, I've never even had Apple Music. I don't have a family plan or anything either, so it's really weird. It's also aggravating because I bought this music with money and it won't play!

Can anyone help, please? I'd be eternally grateful.

Try using Media Monkey or a similar program that is an alternative to i-tunes

  • Iphone ruined and Warrenty expired? Oh great. Right when my Warrenty expired my iphone started to break down and lag and not sending videos and pics and no internet… Does Apple do this in purpose! So can I get it fixed or get a new one if my Warrenty is 1 week expired…
  • Iphone 4 won't play music/sound but will play with headphones? I was syncing my phone to my laptop (everything was fine before this), but when I ejected my iphone from my laptop, the sound stopped working. It will still have sounds such as alarms, voice control and that sort of thing, and I can hear it fine when I'm wearing headphones, but other than that (for instance when it's on music or an app that uses sound) it's silent. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • How to remove an expired best offer from my iPhone eBay app? When I log in to my eBay account on my computer it is not there but when I log in on my iPhone eBay app, it is there and it will not go away. There's no option to delete it. Will deleting the app and re-downloading the app fix it?
