Nail polish on my iphone charger?

So i recently put nail polish on my iphone 4 charger but only on the big bulky aide when you plug it in (and it's no where near you plug the usb cord in) and i just found out that an iphone charger can heat really badly and i also found out my nail ploush that i used on it is flammable! I don't want my charger to set on fire or anything so please help? Am i just overreacting or do i need to remove the polish? & if i do, how?

Its really only flammable when its wet, Because of the fumes mostly, BUT if you want to try removing it, use an ice cube to freeze that part and then scrap off before gets warm again! Tip*make sure is unplugged before ice hope helps GOOD LUCK

  • Spilled nail polish remover on my iPhone? I spilled nail polish remover on my iPhone this morning. It now has a black splotch on the screen, but the phone is now dry and still functioning properly. Is teen works perfectly fine, speakers work fine, seemingly everything is okay. The nail polish has acetone. What will this do to my phone? And how long will the effects of the acetone take place?
  • Spilled nail polish remover on my iPhone? - 1 I just got a iPhone 5 (shitty phone) but I spilled nail polish remover on it and it didn't touch the screen but it touched the back and you can see water marks when you turn on my phone. It's sitting in rice because that helps with water problems but will this kill my phone? How can I help it?
  • Nail polish remover on my iPhone? I accidentally spilled nail polish remover on my iPhone 6s. At first nothing happened, but then I looked and there's a gray haze on the top part of the screen. Everything else works fine. I had it in rice for about a day and a half and now am using it. I called apple and have an appointment set up to have them see what they can do, but does anyone know if this will be just a screen repair or a full phone repair? Should I not use it until the appointment (2 days from now)?
