Need to make a new mtg deck

I do a lot of standard tournaments. I was running a red black agro vamp deck with a lot of removal until it got stolen out of my car. My deck box was an iPhone case, in retrospect it was a poor choice lol made it a much more appealing target. Any way building a new standard deck for the theros block using some cards a kid gave me at the place I usually got for FNM. So I started making a new red black deck, needs more removal, want to keep it somewhat agro but that's not crucial if it can hold out along time I like some bombs and tanks in there to. So I guess the question become, what's good with theros? I like the way the minotaur seem to play off each other similar to how the vamps did but without a lot of token building. I would like to stick with them so what cards complement a Minotaur deck? Should I make it main red cards and just keep enough black for removal? Also some good burn and removal cards would be awesome to. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

A minotaur tribal deck seems interesting, but they seem a bit too high cost for what they do. Theros opened alot of possibilities for mono-colored decks so that might be something you want to look into. With all the new gods, devotion decklists should start popping up soon after release so I'd wait a week or so and see what others are playing.

As for me I think I'm going to run a Mono-Black (Erebos) Control deck with tons of removal, hand destruction, and some black burn. If you want a red deck I'd recommend looking into Red Deck Wins or a variant of it. Now we have "Lightning Strike" as the new burn spell replacement and "Anger of the Gods" as a new red mass removal. I'm not sure how well B/R decks will be now, since before it was always better to run R/G or R/W instead.
