Old roommate won't give me my stuff?

I recently moved out of my ex's parents house, and when I did I left behind all my stuff. When I went back to get it I was only given a percentage of it back. They stole my iphone, coach wallet, clothes, etc. What can I do?

Can I go to his moms work and watch the cameras to see if she has my stuff if I'm able to file charges?

Also, Before I got my own place after I left there it happened to me again, but this time I was given back a percentage of my stuff by the mother's son who keeps claiming it was all there. What can I do?

I was implying if I filed charges could I watch them, but I think I'm better off going and asking around to see if they've been seen with my stuff.

I forgot to add in my posts what could I do if they pawned any of it.

I have receipts for the more expensive items, and all kinds of pictures.

Your roommate's mother's work is not going to let you watch their security cameras unless you're working there as a guard. Do you have proof you owned these items? You may be able to contact the police and report it as theft.

What makes you think their workplace is going to cater to you for watching security videos? They are running a business, they have better things to do then play kiddie games like this.

You can prove you had those things and he took them. No possible way his mom's work lets you view their security footage. No chance.

What you can do is take your stuff with you when you move out of somewhere. Never leave anything behind. You would have thought you'd learn the lesson the first time.

  • When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
  • When will Obama give me all the free stuff he's promising? Well, I voted for Obama yesterday and I'm sure glad he won! It's not my problem that other people want to work for a living, and I have no problem with having them pay everything for me. Obama has uplifted us all. We're to receive free phones, gas, healthcare, and everything else that most people who work have to pay for. When do we get our free stuff? I can't afford health insurance, but I could afford to buy an Xbox, an iPhone, and plenty of weed
  • What should I say to my roommate from last semester (who stole my stuff)? He stole my stuffed Kermit the Frog. I know it was him. I know that he was capable of it since he also stole someone's iPhone. Yet when I see him, he's still just like, "Hey man, how are you doing?" and pretending to be my friend. What should I say to him?
  • My 16 year old son won't give us his iPhone password, what can we do about it? I want to know what he texts to his friends, sort of spy on his thoughts kind of thing. The thing is he bought the phone with money from his job and he pays the bill, it's prepaid. He refuses to hand over his phone or the password. He says if we try to take it away he will defend his property using force. What can I do? I really need to know what's in that phone!
