On a text message on an iPhone or any cell I don't know?
What does it mean when the text says read? And what does it mean when it says delivered?

When it says "read" that means the other person has read the message you sent. "Delivered" means they received the text. You will only see this when you text others with the same phone. (ex. You have iPhone and they have an iPhone)
They mean exactly what they say, delivered means the other persons phone has received the text (not necessarily looked at the text though) and read means they have opened the text message to read it.

- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. A little while later he received a message on his phone that says: "Phone number added to "noahs ipod". "noahs ipod" is now using =1. ### (nephew's phone number) for iMessage". Can anyone tell me what that really means? And how do we get rid of that?
