How to transfer my photos from my iphone 4/s to my PC

I connected my iphone to my pc but the only thing it will sync is the music. I want to take photos from my iphone and store them on my computer. I tried going to itunes and doing it from the photos screen but all that does it put photos that are on my PC to my iphone which I don't want. Can someone please help me with this?

Not sure about pc, but on a mac, I was able to set up a photo stream using the cloud where if I have a photo on ant device, it goes to all my other ddvices

If you are using a windows PC:

Go to "My computer" or "Computer" in the start menu

Now you will see "(Your name's) iPhone"

In here there are a few folders, but the one your pictures are in is a folder called "DCIM" Now you can copy and paste these pictures to anywhere on your PC. I recommend putting them in C:\Users\(Your Name)\My Pictures and create a new folder in here, call it "My iPhone Pictures" then paste all of your images into this folder. Now you can either have them on BOTH the iPhone and on the PC, but if you are doing this to save space you can go back to the iPhones DCIM folder and delete all of the pictures in here.

If you wanted to know why the folder is called DCIM, it stands for "DigitalCameraIMages".

I remember that most iPhone users are accustomed to using a tool called iPHONE TRANSFER which is super easy to use. It can transfer files between iPhone and PC by a few simple steps!

Here is the one I've searched for you: http://www.video-dvd-ripper.com/#iPhone Transfer

To solve the problem, maybe you should use software to help you transfer your iPhone photos to computer. I know the program AnyMP4 iPhone to PC Transfer from my friend David, from my personal experience, it's a good program to transfer files from iPhone to PC.
