Random text messages to unknown numbers?
My iphone has been off all day, from about 7am to 4pm and i turned it back on, i looked in my text messages and i see a text that "I" sent to some number i've never even seen before. There was no answer from that number but its just the fact that my phone has been off all day and plus i have a password lock on it so its impossible that i or anyone else in my house did it, is this some kind of virus? Also to mention i've been getting repeated calls over and over for the past few weeks from different numbers and different states all over the country
Call 611 from your phone, tell your service provider. Someone has spammed you.
- Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person? A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?
- Recieving text messages from unknown callers? Simply saying, "Hey." it has happened a few times in the past as well. My phone is an iphone and is fairly new from last December if that helps. So who are these people? Is it safe to open the message so long as you don't reply? I accidently went to the message, and hope that no one is currently hacking my phone.
- Mobile calls random numbers? I just got an iphone 4s on an optus plan. I have had a recurring problem when making voice calls. I will select a contact from my contact list and press "call". The phone then says… "calling" but I'm connected to a random number, not my contact. this has happened several times. What is going on?
- IPhone app that blocks unknown numbers calling? What apps blocks unknown numbers on iPhones? I don't care if you have to pay I just want one that works well. I'm NOT going to jailbreak my phone for this either.
