Restoring iPhone ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER?
Is it possible to restore an iPad/iPhone or update it ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER than the original one?
My friend found an iPad and he tried to restore it on his computer but iTunes doesn't let him.
Is there a work around for this?
Added (1). Also note, he does not know the iCloud password of the user's iPad
He has to treat it as a new device and initialize it first, which wipes all the existing contents.
- Will restoring my iPhone erase my music on computer? I'm about to restore my iPhone and I understand it'll erase everything on my phone, but after the restore, if I sync my iPhone to my computer to bring everything back, nothing on my computer is gonna be gone, right? I just want to clarify. It won't delete my iTunes music or information on my computer? Just all gone on my phone, safe on computer? I just want to double check.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
- Restoring iPhone onto a different phone? Okay so i have an iPhone 4s which i've been using for a couple of years and has alot of photos etc on, i've backed this up on my itunes - this 4s is on the EE network I've just got an iPhone 5 and i want to restore the back up onto this model - however this iphone WASN't unlocked to any network, at the moment it is unlocked - however if i restore the backup from my 4s i'm afraid the unlock feature will go and i won't be able to use my iphone 5
- Restoring Iphone 5 without Computer? This has not been a good week for me. I got a iPhone 5 from my friend and i put a password on the phone but i forgot it. I tried to connect it to itunes but i don't know, neither does my friend who gave me the phone, his apple id and password. Then my iphone 5 charging cord broke so i don't have one anymore. Is there anyway i can restore my iphone without using a computer, or going to the apple store who gives me a hassle EVERY time?
