Restoring Jailbroken iPhone?

I tried to restore my iPhone 5c using Find my iPhone. It was jailbroken and the screen would not turn on. I tried restoring it on iTunes, but find my iPhone was on and iTunes would not let me. So I went on my iPod to reset my iPhone using Find my iPhone and it reset. But instead of turning on and showing the lock screen, my iPhone now only shows a black screen with the loading animation. Holding down the power button doesn't not do anything, holding down the volume doesn't do anything and holding down the home button doesn't do anything. I have let my iPhone run its battery down twice, plugged it into my computer to see if iTunes would recognize it, but it says an iPhone is plugged in, but not recognized. Also, when it does turn on with barely enough power, i see the lock screen for a split second, then it goes to the apple logo with an updating bar below it, then it goes back to the loading animation.

I had this issue, go to the Apple store but don't tell them its jailbroken.

In order to restore it you must hold the power button and home button together ubtil the power goes off keep holding it and then the logo should show up let go of the power button (if this doesn't work the first time try experimenting by shortening the time). After you do that there should be the iTunes logo. Connect you phone to the computer via usb cable, then open up iTunes and click restore. That should be it. You might have to have it plugged in for the power button/home button thing to work.
