Samsung GS4 vs iPhone 5 (s)?

I have an upgrade coming in June and I want to pick the iPhone 5s or the Galaxy s4.
Little background:
I own a MacBook Pro, ipad 4, and iPhone 5 currently.
The only android phone I've had was the Samsung infuse 4g, which I deeply hated. It had features through the roof, much more than the iPhone 4 (currently iPhone at the time), but it was laggy and glitchy and super unreliable. I blame it on bad hardware/software compatibility. Sure the specs were better, but anyone who had both an iPhone 4 and the infuse would see how much smoother the iPhone runs.

You may think its ridiculous to keep getting a new phone everytime they come out, so here's my reasoning: everytime a new iPhone comes out, I sell my old one for around $300-$400 on Craigslist, buy the new one for $200-$250, and bank the extra. If I wait a few years, the value of my phone has dropped too low to pay for the new one.

Which brings up how well iPhone hold their value: my infuse 4g was replaces by the Galaxy SIII within months, and my infuse was worth little more than a paperweight. I sold my 4s the day before the 5 came out and got $300.

Okay, so the real question: S4 vs. 5S?

Is android still pretty buggy?
Is Samsung releasing features that aren't ready for release?
I know the specs for the s4 are much better, but how is it then that the iPhone just runs so much smoother? Of course now I'm referring to the sIII and iPhone 5.
I love messing with my phones features, I have even jail broken them in and off, but I know that when it comes down to it, I will always be able to rely on the high quality of an iPhone.
I can always pick it up and know it'll work with out question. My infuse was so unreliable, sometimes if it bumped stuff wrong it just shut off, Wi-Fi constantly disconnected, ans Samsung was no help in resolving these issues.

Last comment: I love features that are 1) developed to work without flaws and 2) actually useful.

I don't need my phone to show me live tweets the second I open it. ( my generation is far too disappointing for this) and I sure as hell don't need to video chat with the front and back camera at the same time, COME ON!

If you want the best of the best, get the GS4.It is not very buggy as before and it has a lot of user customization. The iPhone is very smooth and fast, but iOS 6 is very limited. If you want a smooth, fast and elegant phone then get the iPhone

If you already have some apple products then I would get the iPhone 5. I had a droid 3. And I upgraded to an iPhone 5 today. And I like it much better than the android phone. I would get the iPhone!

Android. The s4 is very useful. You can use both cameras at the same time. You can swipe without even touching the screen and it has a 13 megapixel camera. Let's watch apple try to beat that.

I'd recommend the Galaxy S4, it's better.

  • Will i regret getting gs4 over the iPhone 5? I want to get the gs4 but think i might regret it, I've had an iPhone for 2 years, here are my concerns 1.think i may not like the layout of all the apps 2. I will have to download all new games
  • What is a good phone, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S2, or Samsung Galaxy S3? I need a new phone and I'm wondering which I should get. My friend is selling his GS2 for around 50 Bucks and I could possibly get an iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3. Can you tell me the prices with and without the plan. And for people that have these phones could you tell me how good it is and which carrier(Sprint, Verizon, At&T)?
  • Wait for the next Iphone, or get GS4? I have the iphone 3gs right now, and I have hardly used it for anything but texting and calling since I got the Ipad 4, which I have filled all 64 gigabytes of. Memory is a big factor for me, and so is the camera.
  • Samsung galaxy s4, samsung note 2, or iPhone 5? I'm upgrading from the iPhone 4s and I don't know what to do! I love my iPhone but I love the size of the samsungs? Need advice what does everyone think?
