Shall i get an iphone 4s or HTC 8s till i'm 18? For 8 months?

Until i'm 18, i just want a phone which will give me what i need.

Good app selection
Social networking
Good for texting
Good for looking at the screen/ using it, eg high res and sensitivity

Yet iphone 4s is 350£ and windows 8s is 160 pounds

Definitely a 4s. Just a overall, great reliable phone, unless you prefer Windows over Apple.

Whilst Windows is the new kid on the block, Nokia is the Emperor/ Czar/ Monarch / Pres or PM

The Nokia Range model all have the edge dare I say it over the others (aka subjects )

The 8X is the ONLY HTC model above the 8S (Nokia have 5 models above the 620)
The Lumia 520 is the model below the 620 ( and still has 8GB phone memory to the 8S 4GB)

The 620 has a secondary camera (the 8S NOT) you only get a secondary camera on the 8X model

The 620 is the better buy & HAS a removable battery and is priced similar (less?) than the 8S which does NOT have a removable battery

Your point is well noted Windows 8 is half the cost of the IP4S the only difference apart from the £175.00 is the 8Mp camera IP4S to the 5Mp on the Windows 8 phone.
ALL 3 phones have the same speed 1GHz processor.

BTW there (if you did not know) are 20 screen colour to chose from. You can go lime green [620] to blue [8S] in 9.58 seconds (unless it the 100 metre sprint who cares?)

Apple is obviously the more popular device but if you are willing to give windows phone a try then I think you are gonna be a pretty happy overall with what you are asking of the phone ie text social media and what av ya. I would consider the windows device for sure.
