Sharing music on different Apple IDs?
My younger sister just got an iPhone and set up her own Apple ID for it so she can have her own messenger and that kind of thing. She has no music on it though, and wants to share music with me. The problem is, she has no computer of her own, so I don't know how to homeshare with her. All of the computers in our house are already associated with Apple IDs and don't allow her to have her own account on them. Any advice?
Just tell her to sign into your apple id under iTunes. You can do this by going to settings>iTunes & App store> and sign out of her apple id and sign in with yours. She can still use her own apple id for everything else but this way you guys can still share the same music.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
- Sharing the same apple id on iPhone? My dad and I have the same apple id. Last time when i downloaded kik, he found out and told me not to use kik. What else can he find out? What about contacts, notes, my viber & yahoo conversations, photos etc? I don't wanna get caught!
- Sharing the same Apple ID, iMessages? So my family uses one apple Id which Is my dads. My mom uses iMessages for her iPhone 5 and I just got the ipod 5. I really wanna use iMessages but when I do, I get my moms messages and when I text someone it goes as her number. Is there a way to separate it, so I can use it but as a different number from my mom?
