Should I go on holiday to spain or should I use that money to buy an iPhone?

Buy a decent phone instead and have a local holiday on the money you save. IPhones are for fashion victims with more money than sense, Android is much better. The same goes for Apple computers, shiny cases don't make for powerful computers, nor do outrageously inflated price tags. That £750 iPhone costs Apple about £50 to have made for them, the other £700 being their markup.
- Will my T-Mobile iPhone 5 work in Spain? I'm traveling to Spain next month and will more than likely be bringing along my iPhone 5 for the trip for use as a camera/iPod/etc. And was wondering if it would be possible to use it for texts, calls, and data as well? If so would this cost extra, or would there be a way to get it for free?
- Will my IPhone Apps work in Spain? - 1 I know I won't be able to call or text people, but will I still be able to use apps like Facebook or Angry birds in Spain? (Verizion)
- Will my iphone 3gs work in spain and good spain phone deals? I'm from Australia and i'm going to Spain soon, and I'm just wondering if my iphone 3gs will work in Spain on the Spain network if I get a prepaid Spain simcard, do I just take out my Aussie sim and put the Spain one in, will it work? Or what do I need to do? Also, are there any good phone deals for prepaid simcards that has a lot of credit (I need data cos I'll be using Viber to ring home) and enough to last me 2 1/2 weeks that I'm in Spain without being too expensive.
- What technology should I take on holiday? I wanted to take my ipad mini for playing games or watching movies but didn't want to listen to music off it because I feel it is to big to take to the beach were as an iPod shuffle or nano is small enough to be discreet but I then i could take my iPhone 4 but I'm fed up of it and want to replace my phone with the htc one so is it stupid to take all this tech, has anybody got any buying advice
