Should i reset my iphone 4S?

My iphone 4S is overheating and the battery is draining rapidly over 50% in less than 4 hours,
i have a jailbreak on in and i'm not sure if i should restore it, i have read that resetting your iphone makes the battery life better and stops overheating, but i'm not sure

If I were you, take it to a apple store and have them go over it to make some changes, they will help you.

DUDE DO NOT TAKE IT TO THE APPLE STORE WITHOUT RESTORING IT! YOUR WARRANTY WOULD BE VOIDED AS YOU HAVE A JAILBREAK IN IT!

Do you over charge the phone by any chance? Also check whether you're running apps in the backgrounds and if that still doesn't solve the problem then restore your phone and that should definitely solve the problem.

When I jailbroke my iPhone 4s I found it quite sh! T and didn't like it, it also slowed down my phone and once it was restored it started working perfectly fine.

I is a good option to reset your phone. If it's still has the same problem, show it to the apple experts. But do not show them having cydia in it.

I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
  • Should I reset my iPhone? I just got my iPhone 7 Plus with 256 around 3 weeks ago. Everything was fine and it let me download apps easily. Now, whenever I try to download an app it takes forever to load and then it asks me for my fingerprint and then has me put in my App Store password like four times before it actually downloads. Also, whenever I open a game some weird Game Center name comes up and when I click on it it doesn't let me go to the Game Center. Should I just reset it?

Want to factory reset (I know how to) my unlocked iphone 6s plus for troubleshooting purposes and start from scratch as a new device or maybe I ll sell it if i change my mind. Anyways my question is do i take out the sim card before or after i factory reset. I don't care if factory resetting with the sim will cause any changes to it since i have backed up whatever i need including contacts.
