Skyrim crashing to desktop randomly while playing?

Straight to the point. When I play skyrim it crashes to screen sometimes randomly while in game help

i can't update my drivers no internett conection on my pc (writing this on iPhone ) sound fix did not work

my system: Microsoft windows XP
Service pack 3

Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz 1.00 GB RAM On low graphics I don't get any lag and runs extremely smooth only problem - crashing.

I can't enjoy playing it because of the crashing (crashes while playing at differents locations on different time)

I would suggest that you update the video drivers as outdated or corrupted drivers is the most probable cause of the issue. You may download the drivers on another system, copy them on a USB flash drive and use it to install the drivers on your system.

You may also try reinstalling the game once. You may find further steps to troubleshoot game crashes on the link below:

Hope this helps.

There can be problems with your Random Access Memory (RAM). A malfunctioning RAM can be fixed using Windows Memory Diagnostic utility. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Type "Widnows Memory Diagnostic" (without quotes) in the Search box.

4. Click "Restart Now and Check for Problems" button.

5. Your computer will reboot. Several memory tests will be conducted before system boot initialization process. Please stand-by.

You need to identify faulty/ malfunctioning device drivers. Device Manager lets you identify and remove them.

1. Click the Start button.

2. Click Control Panel | System and Security | Administrative Tools.

3. Double click "Computer Management" icon.

4. Select "Device Manager" from the left hand side panel.

5. Expand the top category, right click a device and select "Properties".

Your disk may contain hundreds of files which are temporary in nature. Temporary files include system & browser cache, temporary downloaded files, TMP & BKP type of files and so on. More the temporary files, higher the disk space is used. Because of higher disk space allocated by temporary files, installed applications find it difficult to run smoothly.

You need to analyze and clean-up the unnecessarily used disk space. In other words, remove all sorts of temporary files and objects.

1. Click the Start button, point to All Programs | Accessories | System Tools.

2. Click Disk Clean-Up.

3. Disk Clean-Up opens.

4. Select a disk drive from the drop down box appears.

5. Wait till the disk space analyzation process completes.

6. A list of all temporary objects would appear in the Disk Cleanup tab.

7. Firstly, click the More Options tab. Clean-up old System Restore Points, Shadow Copies and Programs and Features.

8. After cleaning-up the specified items, click the Disk Cleanup tab again.

9. Check-up the boxes of all items that you would like to clean-up. Click the OK button.

10. Repeat above steps for all the remaining drives.

Your computer registry is corrupt. It seems that your registry contains several errors, invalid references, DLL registration problems, program left entries and so on. Scan and clean the registry to immediately repair all errors. Download Reginout Registry Repair. Install and run the program. Click "Start" button under "Registry Repair" section.

  • Why does youtube randomly stop playing? I have an iPhone and I'll be in the app when the playlist (on loop) will randomly stop playing. It doesn't even show up as paused or loading it just completely stops playing without a reason
  • My IPhone keeps randomly playing music by itself? I dropped it about 30mins ago and while answering questions on here, it kept playing Marilyn Manson songs by itself at different speeds without me pressing any buttons and wouldn't stop when I pressed pause until I kept pressing it for ages. After that it has come on and off another three times but it plays music really sped up D: is it broken?
  • My iPhone keeps randomly playing music? - 1 I have an iPhone 5 and recently I updated it to the IOS7. Today while I was on Netflix, Siri suddenly appeared and then I exited and music started playing. This is happening every 5 to 20 minutes. I tried turning my Siri off but voice control appears! I'm not clicking anything and I've never had this problem before. I also tried turning my phone off and on but my music still randomly played. What's going on and what can I do?
  • My iPhone (3GS) randomly started playing a song and turning voice control on today? Today, when I was in second period at school, my iPhone randomly started playing a song from my library. In third period, while doing an assessment, voice control turned on. At lunch, I turned my phone off and took it out of my back and put it in my inside blazer pocket. It might be a new bag I started using today that caused the problem. I really want to know how to stop this so I can stop worrying. (;
