I dropped my iPhone 4s in the toilet? - 2

And I picked it up two seconds later (mind you, I hadn't done anything yet).It worked perfectly fine, I turned it off, and then turned it back on. Again it was still working fine, except for the camera which was slightly foggy. I've only had this phone for about a year, and my friends told me to put it in rice. I did so, and plan on leaving it there for a couple of days. It does work fine, and even after leaving it in rice for 3 hours the camera worked perfectly, but it WAS submerged in water for about 3 seconds, and I was wondering what can I expect from my phone? I was able to make calls and texts after, right now it's just sitting in rice. How long can I expect my iPhone to work for due to the water damage?

It's sounds fine think it's gonna make it

If it'd working now, the ice will absorb what moisture is left in the device. If you're not having any issues already, you should be okay.

I do not exactly know, I say go to the apple store and tell them what happened, hey may be able to tell you. Hope I helped! Happy holidays!

Water damage is tricky, it may work now but often it will cause corrosion to the motherboard and connectors. This may never cause an issue, cause an issue after a day, or cause an issue after a month. Sounds like you should be good though, rice will absorb any leftover moisture. My normal suggestion would be to disconnect the battery and let them sit in rice overnight. Then use compressed air to clean out any rice particles. If you use it, it can cause corrosion and shorts to happen quicker. Be sure you have everything you want backed up on your computer.

What the toilet water did is that it went inside the internals. Later on you will experience damages such as sound distortion. The fog of the water basically went to the camera lens inside and sat there for 3 secs. So, if i were you, trade it in gamestop or something, it won't last long.
