Speck candyshell or incipio dualpro for iPhone 5?

As far as protection and just overall quality which case is better? I'm concerned with the incipio dualpro's silicone on the top and bottom wearing out and stretching as well as collecting a lots of dust and lint from putting it in my pocket. With the speck candyshell I'm concerned with whether its going to be enough protection. As well as whether the lip on the top of the phone is big enough for if it falls to not crack the screen. Also does anyone know whether on both cases the lip along the front would cover the edges of a screen protector?

I'd go for Speck. This case is amazing. I was very cautious about finding the right case for my iPhone as I wanted both: good protection and a pleasing design. I looked through tons of YouTube and Amazon reviews of many different cases (the actual search for the right case took me multiple days) and Speck CandyShell Grip ended up being the best one for me. It's durable, it has a great design (2-in-1 Hard/soft construction) and a nice grip (fingerpads for control). All the cut-outs in the case match up with the phone. It even has a nice coverup for each and individual microphone hole that, by the way, does not affect any of your conversations. The volume buttons as well as the lock button are still very responsive despite being covered by rubbery material. I thought the case would make my phone look bulky, but the phone still looks nice. It does add a little to the weight of the phone however, but if you want solid protection for that delicate iPhone of yours, you got to compromise a little bit. There's a perfect cut-out for the camera and the flash, it's not too big or too small like I've seen on some other cases. The lip of the case is great if you were to place the phone down on its screen. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an aesthetically pleasing, durable and grippy case. If you want a case that will protect all of iPhone's facets (e.g.volume/lock buttons, ringer switch, and both top and bottom sides - since many iPhone cases leave the top and the bottom opened) definitely look into this case. Also, if you are someone who cares about the packaging of the product, Speck does a nice job packaging up this case - it was easy to open, with no scissors needed! FYI, there's no screen protector or anything else included with the case.

I'm not sure it will be enough or not to protect your phone. But you can go through more cases from the following link. Best of luck.

  • Which is better lifeproof or incipio atlas? I bought the otterbox armor for my iphone 5 and although its a pretty good case I really don't like how thick it is. I wanted to get something sleeker and still gets good protection. I was looking at lifeproof and although it seems like a good case I heard reviews and seen videos that the screen protector is not all that good and responsive. I also looked at the incipio atlas and how it has a glass screen built in which is a plus but I'm not sure because it has mixed reviews.
  • Where can i buy the Incipio Atlas case for the iPhone 5? Hi, I was wondering where i could buy the Incipio Atlas iPhone 5 case in-store in San Diego. Any major retailer would probably be here, but if anyone knows a specific store that would be great!
