Sprint iPhone 5 to Straight Talk?
I have a Sprint iPhone 5 activated at the moment, but I have plans of terminating my contract because the service where I'm sucks. I have already heard from multiple people that Straight Talk works great out here and what I'm wanting to do is terminate my plan with Sprint, but keep my iPhone 5 and use it on Straight Talk. I'm reading a lot about unlocking? Not sure how that would work if you could explain that. I'm also reading something about Cdma and Gsm again something i know nothing about. I would just like to be knowledgeable on all of this before I cancel my contract with Sprint. Can I just get a GSM card from Straight Talk and be done with it?
Not possible, a sprint iphone unlocked of not will only work on sprint.
Cdma doesn't have simcard slot
Gsm has simcard slot
If you are out of contract you can ask sprint to unlock your phone otherwise you can buy a rsim air2 unlocking card on ebay and unlock it to use with straight talk

I just bought a sprint iPhone 4S, I called straight talk and asked if it would work if I got a straight talk micro SIM card and if I would get service everywhere I do now with my AT&T android, her answer was yes it would definitely work. Also THE PHONE I BOUGHT TODAY DOES HAVE MICRO SIM CARD SLOT. I've seen a million different answers on google tho. Has anyone tried this or is doing it now? Please give me and answer and explanation.

- Jailbroken sprint iphone 5 on tmobile or straight talk? I know the sprint phone 5 is locked to only sprint or international gsm use. But what if its jailbroken is there some app or tweak in cydia? I had the iphone 4s jailbroken but converted to android. I would really love the iphone 5 on prepaid so any help would be great.
- How to unlock a Sprint iphone 5C for use with Straight Talk? The phone has a bad/active ESN and can't be used with Sprint. That's fine because I want to use it with Straight Talk. It is currently locked. I know I need to unlock it, but I do not know how to do that. Is it true Sprint does not give unlock codes, so it is impossible? If the old owner owes money on a Sprint account on that iphone, can it not be unlocked? Would it also need to be jailbroken or flashed? Or are those the same things as unlocking?
