How to stop iPhone from working?

(I have an iPhone 4)

So basically my phone works fine; the buttons work, it doesn't crash or anything. I've asked my mum if I can get an iPhone 6S ( which I will pay for myself) and she has said no. So is there any way to get the buttons to stop working? Or get e phone to crash? She said I can only get a new one if it is broken.

Put it in water, i once got some liquid glue in my 4s' power button and it stopped working, it was stuck, you can try that, but i think water is the best option if you really want to destroy your phone.Ps, you can also brick it by jailbreaking it. Just pull the plug while you do it to brick the phone

  • Why do iPhone chargers stop working? The original charger I got when I bought my iPhone ripped. I bought another iPhone charger and after a month or so, it stopped working all of a sudden. I disconnected it from my phone, and connected it again and it didn't work. I bought another iPhone charger and it happened the same thing as the second one. It stopped working all of a sudden.
