Switching your iphone from sprint to verizon?
I have an iphone with sprint but i stopped using their service. Can you use your iphone from sprint and switch over to verizon? I've heard you can from some and can't from others. Is there a way to legally do this?
You can't, legally at least.
Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA carriers, meaning that they are able to say what phones can be used in their system, and which phones can't be used.
On top of that, Verizon does not allow outside phones in it's system anymore (they used to let Alltell phones in up until about a year ago).

- Switching sprint iphone 4 to virgin mobile? I have an iphone 4 from sprint that already has its 2 years worth of a contract and its not longer activated with sprint. But its still running on their network. How can I flash it or whatever to work with virgin mobile?
