T- Mobile announced iPhone in 2013?

My family has been with T-Mobile for years. My daughter is always asking for holiday's, birthday and graduation for an iPhone! The only problem is, to buy an unlocked iPhone is very pricey! But I came across a article that T-Mobile will have iPhones' in 2013! Now my question is, will they offer the 2 year contract with a discounted iPhone? I would like to get the latest one. My daughter contract isn't up until Dec '13. Will they still update her contract? What will the cost be? Please answer only if you know. Don't be smart.

Yes, they are announcing this for 2013 meaning they will offer it with the contract, similiar to other carriers. The details aren't out yet other then that, but it will definitely be 2013.

  • Will there be an iPhone 5s later into 2013? I was wondering with the release of the iPhone 5 this month, How likely is it that a 5s will be released later in 2013?
  • When will the next iphone be announced/come out? Also how much differences in specs can we expect? Will it feature quad core processor? Better graphics? Can we expect a completely different design(more than just a screen with a home button)? And other stuff. But when will it come out. Ill only get it (meaning ill get the 5 if it doesn't) if it has quad core like my current android
  • When is Apple going to release the next iphone version? Will it be in 2013 or later? When is Apple going to put out it's next edition of the iphone (iphone 6, for lack of knowing what it may be called)?
  • Thoughts on buying iPhone 1st generation in 2013? Not to use as a phone! (I have the OG Atrix for that) but as a collectors item/something that could hold alot more value in the future. You can get the original iPhone for 50-80 dollars on ebay in pretty good condition, do you guys think that buying a few of them to hold on to would pay off at all in the future (5-10 years from now) when people will begin to want them as collectors items? Or does it not really matter at all once they've been used does that make them junk?
