Off button on my IPhone is broken?
I bought my iphone off kijiji- I know, never the best idea, anyways, ever since i've had it, the off button has been impossibly difficult to use, to the point where I can't even use it anymore and have to wait for my IPhone to turn itself off. Is there any app that can turn it off for me or any way to fix it?
Push the on button.
Go to settings>general>accessibility>assistive touch. This will allow you to turn off your phone
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.

- IPhone lock button broken. Can turn off but how do i turn it on? The lock button at the top of my iphone is broken, but i have been using it fine as i have turned on 'Assistive Touch' and have been using the white dot that appears on screen. However, I'm worried about turning it off, and surely the white dot will disappeaer when the phone is off, and I will have no way of turning it on? Am I correct in thinking this?
- Iphone 4 shut off and won't turn on because lock button is broken? Every now and then i drop my phone and it goes into sleep mode. I have always been able to turn it back on but just a few days ago i broke my lock button. I can't turn it on and i'm so worried! I tried plugging it into my computer and it's been charging for a while but it still won't turn on!
