Sound on my iPhone doesn't work?
So when I try to listen to music it doesn't play unless I put in headphones or plug it into my stero. Also it won't turn off anymore? I have never dropped my iPhone ( only had it for about 5-6 months, kept it safe the while entire time) and all of a sudden it stopped playing my music and won't turn off. I tried resetting it but it still didn't work… Please help?
Take it back to where you bought it, if it's that new they should either fix it or replace it.
It sounds like your internal speakers are damaged and your power button messed up too. You got a dud! It happens!
Ok just go to the apple store as its under warrenty and it is clearly known that the speakers are dameged. All the best.

- Sound in my new iPhone 5 randomly doesn't work? Today i bought a new iPhone 5.It works well except the fact the sound seems to not want to work 75% of the time. No siri, apps, or anything play the sound. I use to have a 3gs so i know how to work it and it just doesn't play sound. Then randomly the sound will come back to it. Any clue to what's going on? Would upgrading the firmware help it?
