First time buying an IPhone

Thank you in advance for answering my question. I want to buy an IPhone and it will be my first time. How can I buy an IPhone? What is the process for buying one? Also, I wanted to do monthly installments, but I'm currently building up my credit.

You go to a store that sells them, and buy it…
If you don't want to pay full price up front ($650+), you get the phone on a 2 year financing agreement. That means you have monthly payments for the phone itself, plus your service plan. If you go this route, the company you go to (Apple, Verizon, Sprint, etc…) will run your credit. If it's not what they are looking for, they will either deny your application and/or require a down payment.

Just note, you'll probably pay upwards of $75/month +taxes+fees on most carriers with a 2 year agreement.

  • If you crack your iPhone for the first time, will Apple replace it for free? My friend cracked her screen and when she brought it to the apple store to get it fixed they fixed it for free only because it was her first time cracking it, and well that happened to me a few days ago so I wanted to see if it was true, anyone else had theirs fixed up for free first time it got cracked?
  • I didn't charge my iPhone enough first time? Now the battery doesn't last a day I got it yesterday and didn't charge it for 8 hours if I let the battery drain then charge right up for a good few hours will this improve my battery life?
  • I'm buying my first iPhone, which one is better 5 or 5C? Ok, so, i know all specs of both of them and i know one is plastic but i need some user experience because I never had an iPhone before. At first I wanted to buy a iPhone 5c because of all those colors (i liked blue one) but when I think about it I can get iPhone 5… I just don't know! I'm confused! 5 doesn't come with iOS 7 but its upgradable… So… Help?
  • How to download free apps on iPhone 4s for the first time? Just got an iPhone 4s today & I'm getting frustrated already. The salesperson didn't know anything about iPhones either. I've already created an Apple account, but when I go to download free apps from the App Store, it's telling me to do something in iTunes first. When I go to do that, it asks for billing information, which I don't have a credit card. I have to do all this to download free apps?
