Trying to bypass Sim card setting on damaged iphone5?
Added (1). Iphone 5got wet yesterday - after drying it out all day in rice it had power but did not recognize it having a sim card in it.

ended up getting a new phone, BUT… Wanting to use my old damaged phone for music etc and it won't let me get past the no sim card prompt now.
Is there a way to use this decive still like I was this morning when it was working the apps despite the damage?

Take it to your local Apple Store. Genera phone repair stores can/will only do so much, Apple will either fix it or give you a replacement (will charge if not under warranty)
- Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

I got an iphone 4 online but i have no idea how to activate the sim card and you don't get many details with the phone and i didn't even get a thing with the sim card telling me what the actual mobile number is iv hooked the phone up to itunes and everything but the sim card still won't let me ring anyone can anyone help me please
