Turning two broken IPhones into one working IPhone?

I have an iPhone 5s and IPhone 5 both are currently broken(opps!). One's screen is smashed (IPhone 5) including like the colour in the screen other then that is fine. The iPhone 5s was dropped in the pool and was fired(or whatever happens when they go in water ahhaha)! So… I was wondering if they could take all of the iPhone 5(good on the inside other then colour in the screen) and put in the iPhone 5s (Not working inside but perfect on the outside)
Otherwise what are my other option ie. Would it be cheaper just to have the iPhone 5 fixed! Sorry to be confusing I have no idea about phones! Ahaha

Not a chance.

Anything is possible if you have the technical expertise and time to do work. It would probably cost 3 times as much as just buying iphone 6.

I would take both of them to an apple store and ask what it would cost to fix each of them. Know how much you think you could sell each for before that, and if you think its worthwhile to do that then I would do that. Otherwise just trade the 5S in and upgrade (you won't get much but even if damaged I think they give you a little credit for it… Better then zero… I would actually see then if I can trade in both, no reason to keep holding on to them).

The ribbons and brackets are different on both phones, so you can switch the screens and digitiser. Your best option is to get your iPhone 5 (with the smashed screen and broken digitiser) fixed. Much easier and cheaper than attempting to fix a water damaged phone.

  • When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
  • Two iPhones, One Apple ID In my household, there are two iPhones, and they both use the same Apple ID, and when one of them downloads an app, it appears on the other one's iPhone as well. Is there any way to stop that?
  • Two iPhones on one Apple ID? So I have my own personal iPhone 6 and an iPhone 5 supplied for my job. Can I sync both to my Apple ID and use apps I've bought on both devices? Say like my tomtom sat nav app. Can I have that on both devices so whether I need it for work or personal use I can just use the appropriate iPhone?
  • Is there a way two record two instruments into an iPhone? I was planning on playing a duet with a friend where I'm on the guitar and they are on the violin and it's just something I want to post on Instagram, nothing special. Is there a cheap device or method that I can record both of us as we're playing directly into my phone?
