Turtle beach headset deaf in one ear?

My 2 year old PX22 turtle beach headset goes deaf in one ear after i move my head slightly. I took out the shell of the ear and i found nothing "physically" wrong with them. There's nothing wrong with the amplifier because i used some old headset (that i'm currently using now) that snapped in half and i worked the same. I even put the headset with out the AMP in my iphone is it still went deaf after i moved my head slightly. And **** goes downhill when i'm in a car. Someone please help me fix this i can't find a guide anywhere.

You've broken the thin filament that serves that earpiece.

  • Turtle Beach XP500 Presets and Bluetooth? I've been trying to use my XP500s as regular headphones with my iPhone via bluetooth and getting them to sound better using the preset feature. However, not matter what I do to the presets, the headset doesn't seem to sound any different. Do the presets not affect the bluetooth/bluetooth without the receiver in range? Would I be better off just buying actual headphones(Sennheiser 419/229s)?
