Twitter Username Change

I have an iPhone 4S and I downloaded twitter a long time ago. I got a twitter last year and I decided to change my username so people could find me easier. I updated to iOS 6 the other day and changed my username today. It won't let me see my profile when I click "me" it will come up as my old username or "this page was not found." It won't let me delete my tweets either. Everything works fine on the computer, it's just on my phone that it won't work. I tried changing my password and reinstalling twitter but nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Added (1). There's no option for me to log out, the menu won't come up

Have you tried logging out of the twitter app maybe?

Did you try going to Settings touching Twitter and touching your username then touching DELETE ACCOUNT? This will log you out of the app. I do it a lot. Then you'll need to go back to Twitter and that should allow you to log back in again. If that doesn't work then. You could just use mobile Twitter or download a different Twitter App (there are some in the App Store).
