Unlock iphone 5S from icloud activation screen?

Basically i've been given this iphone 5S that someone had bought on ebay they give it to me because they couldnt get past the icloud activation screen because the person they bought it from has just stop talking to them and won't give out the apple i.d or remove the phone from find my iphone, so i've restored the phone and i'm wondering if there's any way at all to remove the apple i.d that is currently on the phone so i can put mine onto it i've had a look around the internet and i've seen it done but i wanna be able to do it on this… Anyone got any suggestions?

Well they're selling it as a iCloud lock phone because they don't know the apple id and password. If they knew it they would have sell it as a good phone for more money. There's no way to get by the iCloud lock as of now so you're stuck with a bricked iPhone 5s. You can only sell it for part. Next time you know what's iCloud lock and why people are selling it for so cheap.

Shady, nobody just passes out iPhones like candy. You can't. That's the iCloud activation lock that's at work. The phone has been listed as lost or stolen and this mode was activated. What you don't know is the IMEI has been fried/blacklisted.

When the phone was reported uh 'lost', the carrier then blacklists the phone's ESN. It will never reactivated in the US ever again no matter is you get a bypass or not. Try if you want if you doubt it, but few have ever gotten past the activation lock. See below for yourself but all you uh 'own' now is a pretty paperweight. Best luck.
