Using an iphone 5c with straight talk?
So I recently got an iphone 5c with AT&T and are currently paying around 70 a month for it. I have been seeing the straight talk commercials and I feel like it would be more affordable for me to switch. I don't mind paying the termination fee but I want to make sure my iphone 5c will work with straight talk. Straight talk has their own bring your own phone website and all I need to do is buy the activation kit for it but with the iphone 5c being still so new, I don't want to spend money buying the activation kit and new SIM card to find out my phone won't work. I would just like to know some thoughts from people familiar with straight talk or ones that have actually tried it with the iphone 5c.
The phone can't be used unless it's unlocked and AT&T won't unlock it until the contract is over.
AT&T will unlock your iPhone for you free of charge AS LONG AS you are an AT&T customer. So unlock the phone first while you are still with them, and then terminate your plan!
I think Straight Talk also sells sim cards specifically for AT&T phones and will work in your iPhone 5c without you having to go through the trouble of unlocking it.

I seen lots of reviews how their iphone can't connect to the data/really slow and have bad customer service.
